Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of tech risk strategies within the Risk Intelligence and Advisory team at JP Morgan Chase
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for cybersecurity architecture projects, identifying vulnerabilities in financial systems
• Provide expert advisory on technology risks to senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment with global banking regulations
• Collaborate with architecture teams to design secure, resilient IT infrastructures for trading, payments, and client data platforms
• Monitor and analyze emerging cyber threats specific to the financial sector, producing actionable intelligence reports
• Oversee the integration of risk controls into software development lifecycles, including DevSecOps practices
• Facilitate training and awareness programs on tech risks for JP Morgan Chase employees in London
• Drive continuous improvement in risk management processes, leveraging data analytics for predictive insights
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and internal audit teams to ensure compliance in UK-based operations
• Mentor junior team members in cybersecurity best practices tailored to financial services

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in cybersecurity, risk management, or technology risk within the financial services industry
• Proven track record in leading tech risk assessments and advisory for large-scale financial institutions
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, PSD2, and Basel III relevant to UK and EU financial markets
• Experience with risk intelligence tools and methodologies in a banking environment
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment at a global bank like JP Morgan Chase

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in a relevant discipline
• Experience in cybersecurity architecture within investment banking or asset management
