Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of technology risk strategies within the Risk Intelligence and Advisory team at JP Morgan Chase
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for cybersecurity initiatives, identifying vulnerabilities in financial systems and applications
  • Advise senior leadership on emerging tech risks, including those related to cloud computing, data analytics, and digital banking platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations in the financial sector
  • Monitor and analyze threat intelligence to proactively mitigate risks to JP Morgan's global operations
  • Develop and maintain risk advisory frameworks tailored to the banking industry's unique challenges
  • Facilitate training and awareness programs on technology risks for technology and business units
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on risk metrics for executive review and board reporting

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in cybersecurity, technology risk management, or related roles within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record in leading risk assessment and advisory functions in a large-scale financial institution
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, SOX, PCI-DSS, and FFIEC guidelines relevant to banking
  • Experience with risk intelligence tools and methodologies in a tech-driven environment
  • Ability to obtain necessary security clearances or certifications for handling sensitive financial data
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex risk information to senior stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in Cybersecurity, Risk Management, or Finance
