Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of data domain architectures for operations products, ensuring alignment with JP Morgan Chase's enterprise data strategy
• Assess unstructured business problems in financial operations and develop practical, scalable problem-solving strategies using data-driven approaches
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and compliance officers to define data requirements and governance frameworks
• Oversee the integration of diverse data sources (structured and unstructured) to support analytics solutions in areas like transaction monitoring and risk assessment
• Drive the adoption of modern data technologies, such as cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and big data tools, within JP Morgan's operations ecosystem
• Mentor junior architects and team members, fostering a culture of innovation and best practices in data management
• Ensure data architectures comply with financial regulations and internal policies, mitigating risks in high-stakes banking environments
• Conduct regular reviews and optimizations of data models to enhance performance and support real-time decision-making in operations
• Partner with analytics delivery teams to translate business needs into robust technical architectures that drive operational efficiency
• Stay abreast of industry trends in financial data architecture and recommend innovative solutions to senior leadership

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, or enterprise architecture within the financial services industry
• Proven track record in leading data domain architecture initiatives for operations and product teams in a large-scale banking environment
• Deep understanding of data governance, compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, SOX), and regulatory requirements in financial services
• Experience with agile methodologies and cross-functional team leadership in delivering data solutions
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess unstructured problems and develop practical strategies
• Certification in enterprise architecture (e.g., TOGAF) or data management (e.g., CDMP) is highly desirable

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working at a major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase or similar
• Knowledge of JPMorgan's internal data platforms and tools such as Hadoop, Snowflake, or proprietary analytics systems
