Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines on AWS to support financial analytics and reporting
  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to enhance data collection and storage solutions
  • Optimize data access and processing for real-time financial insights in a secure environment
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes to ensure data quality and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in production systems
  • Participate in agile sprints to deliver innovative data solutions for JP Morgan's global operations
  • Integrate machine learning models into data workflows for fraud detection and risk assessment
  • Document data architectures and contribute to best practices in the team
  • Monitor and scale AWS infrastructure to handle high-volume financial transactions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in data engineering roles, preferably in financial services
  • Proficiency in AWS services including S3, Glue, EMR, Lambda, and Redshift
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala
  • Experience with ETL processes and data pipelines using tools like Apache Spark or Airflow
  • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Ability to work in an agile environment with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a quantitative field
