Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for processing large volumes of financial transaction data
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure data quality and availability for machine learning models
• Implement ETL processes to integrate data from diverse sources including market feeds and internal systems
• Optimize data storage solutions using cloud-based data warehouses like Snowflake or Redshift
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and data security protocols in all engineering practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in production environments
• Contribute to the development of data architecture strategies aligned with JP Morgan's global initiatives
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in code reviews to maintain high standards
• Monitor and improve data pipeline performance to support real-time analytics for trading and risk management

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in data engineering or related roles
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
• Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka
• Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
