Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle databases to support critical financial applications and reporting needs
• Write and optimize complex SQL/PLSQL scripts to handle large-scale data processing for transaction monitoring
• Build and manage data pipelines ensuring data integrity, availability, and scalability across multiple systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists and business analysts to define data architectures
• Perform database tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime in high-stakes banking operations
• Implement data security measures and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in the financial sector
• Test and deploy database changes using version control and CI/CD practices in an agile environment
• Analyze and resolve data-related issues impacting financial reporting and analytics

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Oracle database development and administration
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming, including stored procedures, functions, and triggers
• Experience with designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines in a financial services environment
• Strong understanding of database performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization
• Familiarity with data security and compliance standards such as GDPR, SOX, and PCI-DSS in banking
