Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines to support JP Morgan Chase's financial analytics and reporting needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements
• Implement and maintain data architectures using tools like Apache Spark and Kafka for real-time financial data processing
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security in compliance with regulatory standards in the banking sector

• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices for data engineering in a financial context

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on building and maintaining data pipelines
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
• Strong experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience in SQL and NoSQL databases
