Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of data governance policies and standards across the Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in technology, risk, compliance, and business lines to identify data management gaps and drive remediation efforts
  • Oversee data quality initiatives, including the establishment of metrics, monitoring, and reporting to enhance data reliability for decision-making
  • Facilitate data stewardship programs, assigning responsibilities and providing training to ensure consistent data usage throughout the organization
  • Conduct assessments of data lineage, metadata, and cataloging to support traceability and audit readiness in JP Morgan Chase's data ecosystem

  • 5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or related roles within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements such as BCBS 239, GDPR, and CCAR reporting standards
  • Proven track record in implementing data governance frameworks in a large-scale enterprise environment
  • Experience with data quality assessment, metadata management, and data lineage tools
