Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement data access policies aligned with JP Morgan Chase's governance framework
• Monitor and audit data access activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal security standards
• Develop and maintain secure data solutions that support efficient information flow across business units
• Identify and mitigate data risks, including unauthorized access and data breaches, in a high-stakes financial environment
• Support the integration of data governance tools to enhance data quality and usability for analytics and reporting
• Provide guidance on data classification and handling procedures to teams managing client financial data
• Participate in incident response for data-related security events, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data management processes, leveraging best practices from the financial industry
• Document data governance procedures and train associates on secure data practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field
• 2-4 years of experience in data management, data governance, or information security within the financial services sector
• Strong understanding of data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and financial compliance standards like SOX and Basel III
• Proficiency in data access control mechanisms and identity management systems
• Experience with secure data handling in a large-scale enterprise environment
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams in a global organization

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced certification in data governance (e.g., CDMP) or cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP)
• Experience with JP Morgan Chase's internal data platforms or similar banking systems
• Knowledge of cloud-based data solutions in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Prior role in a financial institution handling sensitive client data
