Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain data quality rules, metrics, and validation processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial datasets
• Create interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or Power BI to monitor data quality trends and provide insights to stakeholders
• Automate data quality checks and reporting workflows to enhance efficiency in JP Morgan Chase's data management operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and compliance officers to identify and resolve data issues
• Conduct regular audits and assessments of data sources to align with regulatory standards in the financial services sector
• Analyze data discrepancies and root causes, recommending improvements to data governance policies
• Support the integration of data quality frameworks into JP Morgan's broader risk management and reporting systems
• Train and mentor junior team members on data quality best practices and tools
• Monitor emerging data quality trends and technologies to drive innovation in financial data handling
• Prepare detailed reports on data quality performance for senior management and regulatory submissions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in data management, data quality assurance, or data governance within the financial services industry
• Proficiency in SQL and data querying tools for analyzing large datasets
• Experience with data quality tools such as Collibra, Informatica, or similar platforms
• Strong understanding of financial data standards and regulatory requirements like GDPR, Basel III, or Dodd-Frank
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement data quality rules and monitoring frameworks
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to data integrity

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in Data Science, Analytics, or Finance
• Experience working in a global banking environment, preferably at a tier-1 financial institution
• Certification in data management (e.g., CDMP) or quality assurance methodologies
• Familiarity with Python or R for data automation and scripting
• Prior exposure to agile methodologies and cross-functional team collaboration in financial projects
