Key Responsibilities

• Lead and promote data management initiatives across JP Morgan Chase's Bournemouth operations to ensure high-quality, compliant data usage
• Guide senior stakeholders in strategic data decisions, aligning with business objectives and regulatory standards in the financial services sector
• Develop and implement data governance frameworks to enable unbiased and impactful business outcomes
• Oversee data quality assessments, metadata management, and lineage tracking for critical financial datasets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including risk, compliance, and technology groups, to integrate data strategies
• Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of data excellence within the organization

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in data management, data governance, or related roles within the financial services industry
• Proven track record in leading data initiatives and strategic decision-making in a large-scale banking environment
• Deep knowledge of regulatory requirements such as GDPR, Basel III, and other financial data standards
• Experience with data quality frameworks and metadata management in enterprise settings
• Strong leadership experience managing cross-functional teams in a global organization
• Certification in data management (e.g., CDMP) or equivalent professional qualification

• Experience working at a major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase or similar
• Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) with a focus on data analytics or business intelligence
