Key Responsibilities

  • Act as product owner for key data taxonomy projects, defining requirements and prioritizing backlogs to support portfolio management initiatives
  • Drive the development and maintenance of data taxonomies to ensure consistent classification of financial assets, risks, and client data across JP Morgan Chase's global operations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in risk, compliance, and technology teams to align taxonomy strategies with regulatory and business needs
  • Lead strategic initiatives to enhance data governance best practices, including metadata standards and ontology modeling
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning and retrospectives, to deliver high-quality data solutions on time
  • Analyze and resolve complex data classification issues, ensuring accuracy in reporting for financial portfolios
  • Mentor junior team members on data management principles and foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Monitor industry trends in data taxonomy and recommend innovations to improve JP Morgan Chase's data infrastructure

Required Qualifications
