Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in originating and executing debt capital markets transactions for corporate clients in Korea
  • Support senior bankers in preparing pitch books, financial models, and market updates
  • Conduct research on market trends, competitor activities, and client financials in the debt space
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including syndication and legal, to facilitate deal processes
  • Manage client communications, scheduling meetings, and tracking follow-ups
  • Analyze debt issuance opportunities and prepare presentation materials for client pitches
  • Monitor regulatory changes in Korean and global debt markets to ensure compliance
  • Contribute to the development of marketing strategies for JPMorgan's Debt Capital Markets group
  • Assist in post-deal activities, such as reporting and performance analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-border teams to support international debt financing deals

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in investment banking, capital markets, or financial services
  • Strong understanding of debt capital markets, including bonds, loans, and structured financing
  • Proficiency in Korean and English languages, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with tight deadlines
  • Familiarity with financial modeling and market analysis tools
  • Eligibility to work in South Korea for the duration of the 6-month contract
