Key Responsibilities

  • Process and validate FX and OTC derivatives trades to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies
  • Perform daily reconciliations between internal systems and external counterparties
  • Monitor trade lifecycle events, including confirmations, settlements, and novations
  • Identify and escalate operational risks or discrepancies to senior team members
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders, including front office, middle office, and clients
  • Support regulatory reporting and documentation for derivatives activities
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within the team
  • Ensure adherence to JPMorgan Chase's risk management and control standards
  • Handle ad-hoc queries from clients and internal partners regarding trade status
  • Participate in system testing and implementation of new operational tools

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in financial services operations, preferably in derivatives or FX
  • Strong understanding of trade lifecycle processes in OTC derivatives
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, global team environment
  • Relevant certifications such as CFA Level 1 or operational risk management qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with FX and OTC derivatives products in a banking environment
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements like Dodd-Frank or EMIR
  • Prior exposure to reconciliation and settlement processes in financial markets
