Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the GRE Development CFO in preparing financial models, budgets, and forecasts for major real estate projects and the headquarters initiative
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance reporting, scenario modeling, and risk assessment for development portfolios
  • Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and insights to senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including real estate, legal, and operations, to ensure accurate financial oversight
  • Monitor project expenditures, track key performance indicators, and recommend cost-saving measures
  • Support due diligence processes for new development opportunities, including capital allocation analysis
  • Ensure compliance with internal JP Morgan Chase policies and external financial regulations
  • Develop and maintain financial databases and systems for efficient reporting
  • Contribute to strategic planning by providing financial projections for long-term real estate initiatives
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with development projects

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in real estate or development finance
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting using tools like Excel and financial software
  • Experience with budgeting, variance analysis, and financial reporting for large-scale projects
  • Knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations applicable to real estate development
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams
  • CPA, CFA, or similar professional certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA) in Finance or Real Estate
  • Prior experience in the financial services industry, ideally with a major bank like JP Morgan Chase
  • Familiarity with real estate project financing, including debt and equity structures
  • Experience supporting executive-level financial decision-making in development projects
