Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable DevOps pipelines to support secure deployment of financial technology products
• Collaborate with agile teams to integrate continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices for market-leading applications
• Implement infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform and Ansible to ensure reliability in high-stakes financial environments
• Monitor and optimize system performance, focusing on low-latency requirements for trading and payment systems
• Ensure compliance with JP Morgan Chase's security protocols and financial regulations during all development phases
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production environments, minimizing downtime for critical banking services
• Mentor junior engineers on best practices for DevOps in the financial sector
• Contribute to code reviews and participate in sprint planning to deliver innovative solutions
• Leverage cloud-native technologies to enhance scalability for global financial operations
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability management for software deployments

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on DevOps practices
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, with emphasis on financial services security standards
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and version control systems like Git
• Demonstrated ability to work in secure environments compliant with regulations like SOX, GDPR, and PCI-DSS
• Excellent problem-solving skills and experience in high-availability systems for financial applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant technical field
