Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of DevOps solutions using Python to automate infrastructure and workflows for JP Morgan Chase's trading and risk management platforms
• Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to integrate DevOps practices that enhance system reliability and scalability in a 24/7 financial operations environment
• Oversee the implementation of CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery while ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal security protocols
• Mentor and guide a team of senior engineers in adopting best practices for container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker in cloud environments
• Drive innovation by identifying opportunities to leverage infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform to optimize costs and performance for high-volume transaction processing
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex production issues, and implement monitoring solutions to maintain uptime for critical banking applications
• Partner with risk and compliance teams to embed security into DevOps processes, mitigating cyber threats in the financial sector
• Contribute to strategic roadmaps for technology modernization, aligning DevOps initiatives with JP Morgan Chase's goals in digital transformation and client experience enhancement

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on DevOps practices in a financial services environment
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams in delivering high-impact projects at scale
• Deep expertise in Python programming for automation and scripting in cloud-native environments
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure as code (IaC)
• Experience with regulatory compliance and security standards in banking, such as GDPR, SOX, and PCI-DSS

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
