Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and evolution of cybersecurity architecture strategies for specific domains within JP Morgan Chase, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements
• Serve as a primary decision-maker for architecture teams, overseeing the implementation of secure systems that protect sensitive financial data and client information
• Drive innovation in cybersecurity practices, exploring emerging technologies like AI, machine learning, and zero-trust models to enhance threat detection and response
• Collaborate with senior executives, engineering teams, and compliance officers to integrate cybersecurity into the firm's digital transformation initiatives
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses for financial applications, recommending architectural improvements to mitigate threats
• Mentor and develop a team of architects and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence in cybersecurity
• Ensure adherence to global standards and JP Morgan Chase's internal policies, including reporting on architecture health and incident preparedness
• Partner with technology and operations groups to architect resilient systems that support high-volume trading, payments, and customer banking services
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes in financial services, adapting architecture roadmaps accordingly
• Contribute to enterprise-wide cybersecurity governance, participating in strategic planning and budget allocation for architecture projects

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the financial services industry
• Proven track record of designing and implementing enterprise-level cybersecurity frameworks in a regulated environment like banking
• Deep knowledge of cybersecurity standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS, with experience ensuring compliance in financial institutions
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in high-stakes environments, including managing budgets and resources for cybersecurity initiatives
• Strong understanding of threat landscapes in financial services, including risks from cyber threats, regulatory changes, and digital transformation
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC in cybersecurity architecture

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working at a major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase or similar, with exposure to global banking operations
• Advanced degree or MBA with a focus on technology management or cybersecurity
• Hands-on experience with cloud security architectures in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, tailored to financial data protection
