Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of software engineers focused on Snowflake implementations, driving the design and development of data pipelines and analytics solutions for JP Morgan Chase's financial services platforms
• Serve as the primary technical decision-maker, evaluating and selecting technologies that align with business goals in areas like trading analytics, fraud detection, and customer data management
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including data scientists, product managers, and compliance teams, to ensure solutions meet regulatory standards and enhance operational efficiency
• Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance, emphasizing scalable, secure architectures in a cloud environment
• Foster innovation by identifying opportunities to leverage Snowflake's capabilities for advanced financial modeling, real-time data processing, and AI-driven insights
• Mentor and develop team members, promoting best practices in code quality, testing, and DevOps within JP Morgan's engineering culture
• Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and data integrity for mission-critical financial applications
• Drive strategic initiatives to integrate Snowflake with JP Morgan's broader ecosystem, supporting global operations across investment banking and consumer banking divisions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in leadership roles managing engineering teams
• Proven expertise in Snowflake data platform, including data warehousing, ETL processes, and cloud-based analytics
• Strong understanding of financial services technologies, such as data security, compliance with regulations like GDPR and SOX, and risk management systems
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in agile environments to deliver scalable solutions in high-stakes financial environments
• Demonstrated ability to make strategic technical decisions impacting business outcomes in a large-scale enterprise setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or MBA in a technology or finance-related field
• Experience with other cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP integrated with Snowflake
• Prior work in fintech or banking sectors, particularly in data-driven decision-making for investment banking or asset management
