Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable data marts for finance domains, ensuring alignment with JP Morgan Chase's enterprise data strategy
• Collaborate with finance stakeholders to define data requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications
• Implement cloud-based data solutions using technologies like Snowflake, Databricks, or AWS Redshift to optimize performance and cost
• Establish data governance policies and ensure compliance with regulatory standards in financial reporting
• Lead the development of data pipelines for real-time and batch processing of financial metrics and analytics
• Mentor junior architects and data engineers, fostering a culture of innovation in data analytics
• Conduct data quality assessments and implement remediation strategies to maintain high integrity in finance data
• Integrate advanced analytics and AI capabilities into data marts to support decision-making in risk management and forecasting
• Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to enhance the finance data ecosystem at JP Morgan Chase
• Partner with IT and operations teams to deploy and monitor data architectures in production environments

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 8+ years of experience in data architecture, with at least 5 years focused on financial data systems or data marts
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing data architectures in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Strong understanding of financial data standards, including GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory reporting requirements
• Experience with data modeling tools and ETL processes in a large-scale enterprise setting
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in data projects within the banking or financial services sector
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks and compliance standards like SOX and GDPR

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working at a major financial institution, preferably with exposure to JP Morgan Chase's data ecosystems
• Certification in cloud architecture (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) or data management (e.g., CDMP)
• Background in agile methodologies and DevOps practices for data pipeline development
• Knowledge of machine learning integration with financial data marts for predictive analytics
• Prior involvement in finance transformation projects involving big data technologies
