Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the client onboarding process by gathering and verifying customer documentation for new accounts
  • Support the review and processing of client applications in compliance with J.P. Morgan's risk and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve onboarding discrepancies and ensure timely account activation
  • Perform data entry and maintenance in client management systems to maintain accurate records
  • Conduct initial due diligence checks on client information to mitigate fraud risks
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss onboarding workflows and contribute ideas for process improvements
  • Assist in preparing reports on onboarding metrics and client satisfaction for senior stakeholders
  • Shadow experienced professionals to learn about J.P. Morgan's client service excellence in the financial services industry
  • Support ad-hoc projects related to digital onboarding tools and client experience enhancements

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Expected graduation date between December 2024 and June 2026
  • Strong academic record with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent
  • Eligibility to work in Colombia without sponsorship
  • Proficiency in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus
  • Basic understanding of financial services and client onboarding processes
  • Availability for a full-time internship during the program period (typically 10-12 weeks)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior internship or work experience in finance, banking, or customer service
