Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in pricing complex exotic derivatives for the Americas Exotics Book, ensuring accurate valuation models
  • Monitor and manage trading risks, including market, credit, and operational risks
  • Develop and maintain quantitative models for pricing and hedging strategies
  • Collaborate with traders, quants, and risk teams to optimize portfolio performance
  • Analyze market data and generate reports on trading positions and exposures
  • Support real-time decision-making during market hours for Americas trading sessions
  • Contribute to process improvements in trading workflows and risk management tools
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal JP Morgan policies
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects related to product development in exotics trading

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in financial markets, trading, or risk management, preferably in derivatives or exotics
  • Strong understanding of financial instruments, including options, equities, and exotic derivatives
  • Proficiency in quantitative analysis and modeling techniques
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in a quantitative discipline such as Financial Engineering or Quantitative Finance
