Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advisory support on EMEA capital policies to Finance, Risk, and business lines, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements

  • Collaborate with global teams to develop and implement capital optimization strategies tailored to EMEA markets
  • Prepare and review regulatory reports, disclosures, and stress testing scenarios for capital adequacy
  • Monitor regulatory developments and advise senior management on policy implications and mitigation strategies
  • Support internal audits and external regulatory examinations related to capital and finance functions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or Master's) preferred
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in regulatory finance, capital policy, or compliance within the financial services industry
  • In-depth knowledge of EMEA regulatory frameworks, including CRD IV/CRR, Basel III/IV, and ECB supervisory requirements
  • Proven track record in a controller or finance role at a major financial institution, with experience supporting cross-functional teams
  • Strong understanding of capital adequacy, stress testing, and regulatory reporting processes
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in German is advantageous for Frankfurt-based role
  • Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CFA
