Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily P&L analysis and reconciliation for EMEA Currencies and Emerging Markets trading desks
  • Support trading activities by providing timely and accurate product control data to desk heads and senior management
  • Monitor and validate trade bookings, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with front office, operations, and finance teams to resolve discrepancies in valuations and exposures
  • Develop and maintain control frameworks for new products and market developments in EMEA
  • Contribute to month-end and quarter-end close processes, including financial reporting and variance analysis
  • Identify and escalate potential risks or control issues related to trading activities
  • Assist in regulatory reporting and audit support for EMEA-based operations
  • Enhance automation and reporting tools to improve efficiency in product control processes
  • Stay updated on market trends and regulatory changes impacting currencies and emerging markets

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in product control, financial reporting, or trading support within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, particularly currencies and emerging markets
  • Proficiency in financial regulations and compliance standards relevant to EMEA
  • Experience with trade lifecycle management and P&L reconciliation
  • ACCA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification
  • Fluency in English; additional languages such as those spoken in EMEA regions are advantageous

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience at a major investment bank like JP Morgan Chase
  • Knowledge of JPMorgan's internal systems and trading platforms
  • Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in Finance or related discipline
  • Experience in risk management or valuation for emerging market instruments
  • Familiarity with IFRS and local EMEA accounting standards
