Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key point of contact for EMEA clients on Credit Default Swap (CDS) inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of service requests
  • Monitor and manage the end-to-end trade lifecycle for CDS products, including trade capture, confirmation, and settlement in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with front office, risk management, and operations teams to mitigate operational risks and enhance client service delivery
  • Conduct daily reconciliations of CDS positions, valuations, and cash flows, identifying and escalating discrepancies promptly
  • Provide analytical support for client reporting, including performance attribution and portfolio analysis for CDS exposures
  • Assist in the implementation of new CDS products or process improvements within the EMEA Credit Derivatives Middle Office
  • Ensure adherence to JP Morgan's risk and control frameworks, contributing to audit preparations and regulatory filings
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients to drive service excellence
  • Support ad-hoc projects related to market events, system enhancements, or regulatory changes impacting CDS operations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in credit derivatives, middle office operations, or client services within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of Credit Default Swaps (CDS) products, including EMEA market specifics and regulatory requirements such as EMIR
  • Proficiency in trade lifecycle management, from execution to settlement and reconciliation
  • Excellent knowledge of financial markets, risk management principles, and operational controls in a derivatives environment
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in French is required due to the Paris location
