As a Product Controller, you'll work closely with traders and risk managers to deliver insights that drive informed decision-making in currencies and emerging markets trading. Your primary focus will be on daily P&L reconciliation, position valuation, and exposure monitoring for FX spot, forwards, options, and emerging market instruments. You'll analyze variances, identify risks, and contribute to robust controls that align with JPMorgan's commitment to regulatory compliance and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily profit and loss (P&L) analysis and reconciliation for Currencies and Emerging Markets trading desks
  • Support the trading team by providing timely financial insights and ad-hoc reporting to ensure accurate valuation of positions
  • Monitor and control trading book exposures, including foreign exchange rates and emerging market instruments
  • Collaborate with front-office traders, middle-office risk teams, and senior management to resolve discrepancies and enhance controls
  • Assist in month-end close processes, including preparation of financial statements and regulatory filings
  • Develop and maintain financial models for pricing and forecasting in volatile EMEA markets
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and JPMorgan's risk management framework
  • Identify process improvements and implement automation tools to streamline product control functions
  • Conduct variance analysis between actual and projected P&L, providing explanations and recommendations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in financial services, preferably in product control, trading support, or a related finance role
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, particularly currencies and emerging markets
  • Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis, with knowledge of IFRS or GAAP standards
  • Experience with data analysis tools and financial systems
  • Fluency in English; additional languages such as Polish or other EMEA regional languages are advantageous

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in Finance or Accounting
  • Prior experience at a major investment bank or financial institution in EMEA
  • Certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CFA Level 1
  • Knowledge of JPMorgan's internal systems and processes
  • Experience in risk management or regulatory reporting for trading desks
