Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily P&L analysis, attribution, and reconciliation for EMEA equity exotics portfolio
  • Validate and explain trading desk P&L, identifying variances and anomalies
  • Ensure accurate independent pricing and valuation of complex equity derivatives
  • Support month-end close processes, including financial reporting and control checks
  • Collaborate with front office, middle office, and finance teams to resolve discrepancies
  • Monitor and manage risks associated with equity exotics, including market and counterparty risks
  • Assist in regulatory reporting and compliance with EMEA-specific requirements
  • Develop and maintain control frameworks to mitigate operational risks
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within Product Control
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and support for business initiatives and audits

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in product control, financial reporting, or risk management within equities or derivatives
  • Strong understanding of equity exotics products, including barriers, variance swaps, and structured notes
  • Proficiency in financial regulations such as MiFID II, EMIR, and IFRS 13
  • Experience with end-to-end trade lifecycle management in a front-to-back office environment
  • ACCA, CPA, or CFA qualification or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in Finance or Quantitative Finance
  • Prior experience at a major investment bank like JP Morgan Chase in EMEA equities
  • Knowledge of Python or VBA for financial modeling and automation
  • Familiarity with JP Morgan's internal systems such as Horizon or equivalent
  • Experience in audit support and regulatory reporting for exotic derivatives
