Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for equities operations transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including trading, technology, and compliance to drive process improvements
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets using tools like MS Project or Jira
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with operational changes in equities settlement and clearing
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement and communication to ensure project success and adoption
• Monitor project metrics and KPIs to measure transformation impact on efficiency and cost savings
• Implement best practices for change management in a regulated financial services environment
• Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned to enhance future initiatives
• Support regulatory compliance efforts during transformation projects
• Drive innovation in equities operations through technology integration and process automation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within financial services, preferably in equities operations
• Proven track record of leading transformation projects in a banking environment
• Strong understanding of equities trading, settlement, and regulatory requirements
• PMP or equivalent project management certification
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment in Hong Kong
