Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily trade support for equity derivatives bookings, confirmations, and settlements in the APAC region
  • Monitor and resolve trade breaks, valuation discrepancies, and operational risks in real-time
  • Collaborate with trading desks, middle office, and external counterparties to ensure accurate trade execution
  • Assist in regulatory reporting and compliance checks for equity derivatives transactions
  • Perform quality control on trade data and contribute to process improvements using automation tools
  • Support new product initiatives and system enhancements for the Equity Derivatives business
  • Liaise with technology teams to troubleshoot issues in trading platforms like Murex or Calypso
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis on trade exposures and P&L attributions for senior management
  • Ensure adherence to JPMorgan's risk management policies and internal controls
  • Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning for trading operations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
  • 2-4 years of experience in trade support, operations, or middle office roles within financial services, preferably in derivatives
  • Strong understanding of equity derivatives products such as options, swaps, and futures
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools like Bloomberg, Reuters, or Murex
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to handle complex trade data and resolve discrepancies
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese is advantageous for APAC operations
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced trading environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in APAC markets, particularly Hong Kong or Greater China equity derivatives
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as HKMA, SFC, or EMIR for derivatives trading
  • Prior exposure to JPMorgan Chase's internal systems or similar investment banking platforms
  • CFA Level 1 or equivalent certification in finance or derivatives
  • Demonstrated project management experience in trade lifecycle support
