  • Build and maintain financial models to support equity research reports and investment recommendations

  • Prepare detailed research reports, presentations, and pitch books for institutional clients
  • Interact with company management, attend industry conferences, and gather primary research insights
  • Collaborate with sales and trading teams to provide timely market updates and client support
  • Assist in generating investment ideas and contributing to sector coverage strategy
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal JP Morgan policies in all research activities
  • Support senior analysts in ad-hoc projects and due diligence processes

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field from a reputable university
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in equity research, investment banking, or financial analysis
  • Strong understanding of financial modeling and valuation techniques specific to the basic materials sector
  • Proficiency in Mandarin and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Familiarity with financial databases and market research tools
  • Eligibility to work in Hong Kong without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in a quantitative field
  • Prior internship or experience in the basic materials industry (e.g., mining, chemicals, or metals)
  • CFA Level 1 or higher certification
