Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing advocacy strategies that address key challenges in financial system resiliency, including coordination with U.S. government entities such as the Department of Homeland Security and the Treasury Department. You will engage with policymakers to influence regulations that enhance cybersecurity protocols, disaster recovery frameworks, and supply chain security for banking institutions. By analyzing legislative proposals and regulatory guidance, you will provide actionable insights to mitigate risks to JPMorgan Chase's extensive network, while fostering partnerships with industry peers through organizations like the Financial Services Sector Coordinating Council. This role also involves representing the firm in high-level discussions, preparing executive briefings, and driving internal alignment to build a more secure financial ecosystem. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of JP Morgan Chase's public policy strategy for the Security and Resiliency Initiative, focusing on national security threats to financial systems
• Advise senior leadership on emerging policy issues related to cybersecurity, physical security, and operational resiliency in the financial services industry
• Build and maintain relationships with key government officials, regulators, and industry groups to influence legislation and regulations impacting bank security
• Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments in national security areas, providing timely insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across JP Morgan Chase's lines of business to ensure alignment on security policy priorities
• Represent the firm in external forums, including congressional hearings, industry coalitions, and international security dialogues
• Develop advocacy materials, position papers, and testimony to advance the firm's interests in resilient financial infrastructure
• Collaborate with global government relations teams to align U.S. security policies with international operations
• Assess risks from geopolitical events and advise on mitigation strategies for JP Morgan Chase's assets and operations
• Support internal training and awareness programs on security policy compliance and best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Policy, International Relations, or a related field; advanced degree (Master's or JD) strongly preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in government relations, public policy, or regulatory affairs, with a focus on national security and financial sector resiliency
• Proven track record of engaging with U.S. government agencies, Congress, and regulatory bodies on security-related policy issues
• Deep understanding of national security industries, including cybersecurity, critical infrastructure protection, and financial system resilience
• Experience advising senior executives on policy implications for multinational financial institutions
• Ability to obtain necessary security clearances for handling sensitive government information
• Strong network within Washington, DC policy circles, including think tanks, trade associations, and bipartisan stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working in or with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Department of Defense, or Financial Stability Oversight Council
• Knowledge of international security frameworks and their impact on global financial services
• Background in crisis management or resiliency planning within the banking sector
• Familiarity with JP Morgan Chase's operations and regulatory environment in the U.S.
• Publications or speaking engagements on topics intersecting finance, security, and public policy
