Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to develop and maintain a scalable design system for JP Morgan Chase's digital platforms
• Create and document reusable UI components, patterns, and guidelines to ensure consistency across web and mobile applications
• Conduct audits of existing interfaces to identify opportunities for design system improvements and standardization
• Work closely with product teams to integrate design system elements into financial services products, enhancing user experience for banking clients
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for designers and developers on design system usage and best practices
• Ensure the design system adheres to accessibility standards and regulatory requirements in the financial sector
• Gather feedback from users and stakeholders to iterate on design system features and usability
• Monitor emerging trends in UX design and incorporate relevant innovations into JP Morgan's ecosystem
• Support the creation of style guides and asset libraries for global teams
• Contribute to the evolution of design tokens and variables to maintain brand consistency in financial tools

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in UX/UI design, with a focus on design systems in a digital product environment
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
• Strong understanding of design principles, including accessibility (WCAG) and usability standards
• Experience working in an agile development environment
• Knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the financial services industry, particularly with banking or fintech applications
• Familiarity with component libraries and design tokens in scalable systems
• Advanced degree or certification in UX design or interaction design
• Prior work at a large-scale organization like JP Morgan Chase
• Experience with prototyping tools and user testing methodologies
