Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of user experience research strategies to uncover insights that shape employee-facing products and services at JP Morgan Chase
  • Conduct in-depth qualitative and quantitative studies, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, focused on employee needs in financial operations
  • Collaborate with design, product, and engineering teams to translate research findings into actionable recommendations for reimagining employee experiences
  • Analyze complex data from employee interactions with internal systems to identify pain points and opportunities for innovation in banking workflows
  • Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of user-centered design within the UX team at JP Morgan Chase
  • Present research insights to senior stakeholders, influencing strategic decisions on employee tools and platforms
  • Stay abreast of industry trends in financial services UX and employee engagement to drive best practices
  • Ensure research practices comply with JP Morgan Chase's data privacy and regulatory standards
  • Partner with HR and business units to align employee experience research with broader organizational goals

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Design Research, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in user experience research, with a focus on enterprise or employee-facing applications in financial services
  • Proven track record leading research initiatives that influence product strategy and design in large-scale organizations
  • Strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, including usability testing and ethnographic studies
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams such as product managers, designers, and engineers in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with financial industry regulations and employee experience challenges in banking and asset management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's or PhD in a relevant discipline with emphasis on user-centered design
