Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review external financial reports in compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and SEC regulations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial statement disclosures
  • Analyze financial data to identify variances and provide insights for senior management
  • Support the quarterly and annual close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal controls over financial reporting
  • Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies to facilitate audits and examinations
  • Develop and enhance reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Monitor changes in accounting standards and assess their impact on JPMorgan Chase's reporting
  • Contribute to ad-hoc reporting projects and special initiatives as needed
  • Ensure all external reporting deliverables meet JPMorgan Chase's high standards of quality and integrity

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial reporting or external reporting within the financial services industry
  • Proficiency in US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards
  • Strong knowledge of SEC reporting requirements and financial regulations
  • Experience with financial statement preparation and analysis
  • CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Accounting)
  • Experience in a Big Four accounting firm or major financial institution
  • Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and internal controls
  • Prior exposure to regulatory filings such as 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K
  • Knowledge of data analytics tools for financial reporting
