Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily P&L analysis and reconciliation for Payments Rails products within Treasury Services
  • Monitor and control financial risks associated with payments processing and settlement activities
  • Prepare and review management reports, variance analysis, and forecasting for business leaders
  • Collaborate with front-office teams to ensure accurate product pricing and revenue recognition
  • Support regulatory reporting and audits, ensuring compliance with internal controls and external standards
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks in payments workflows, including fraud detection
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making in Treasury Services
  • Assist in budgeting and planning processes for the Payments Product Control team
  • Liaise with technology teams to enhance data integrity in payments systems

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product control, financial reporting, or controllership within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of payments rails, treasury services, and banking products
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, P&L management, and regulatory reporting
  • Experience with risk management and compliance in a controlled financial environment
  • Ability to work with large datasets and financial modeling tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Finance) or professional certification (CPA, CFA)
  • Prior experience at a major financial institution like JPMorgan Chase
  • Knowledge of global payments systems such as SWIFT, Fedwire, or real-time payments
  • Familiarity with Basel regulations and SOX compliance
