Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with JP Morgan Chase's internal controls and regulatory standards
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes for controller functions in the Warsaw office
• Conduct financial data reconciliation and variance analysis to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
• Contribute to audit preparations and respond to internal/external auditor inquiries
• Utilize financial modeling tools to support risk assessment and performance reporting in the financial services sector
• Participate in the Global ReEntry Program training modules to rebuild technical and soft skills
• Ensure adherence to anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) policies in daily operations
• Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency in finance workflows
• Monitor key financial metrics and prepare reports for senior management in the EMEA region

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of prior professional experience in finance, accounting, or controller functions before career break
• Strong understanding of financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and regulatory requirements in the financial services industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for financial modeling and data analysis
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to a fast-paced corporate setting
• Fluency in English; Polish language skills are advantageous for Warsaw-based role
• Commitment to professional development and relaunching a career after a break of 2+ years

Preferred Qualifications
