Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily and monthly reconciliations of financial accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Conduct variance analysis on financial statements and investigate discrepancies
  • Support the preparation of management reports and regulatory filings for JP Morgan Chase's Warsaw operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain internal controls over financial reporting
  • Assist in the development and execution of financial control policies aligned with global standards
  • Monitor compliance with SOX and other regulatory requirements in the financial services sector
  • Identify process improvements to enhance the efficiency of financial control functions
  • Participate in audits and provide documentation to internal and external auditors
  • Analyze financial data to support business decision-making and risk assessment
  • Contribute to the training and onboarding of junior team members in financial control practices

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial control, accounting, or audit within the financial services industry
  • Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP accounting standards
  • Proficiency in financial reporting and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Experience with financial systems like SAP or Oracle
  • Fluency in English; Polish language skills are a plus

  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Finance)
