Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions in Malaysia, focusing on banks, insurance companies, and asset managers
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in payments and treasury services within the Financial Institutions Group (FIG)
  • Conduct needs assessments and present tailored JP Morgan Chase payment solutions to clients to drive revenue growth
  • Collaborate with internal teams including product specialists, compliance, and risk management to deliver seamless client experiences
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to advise clients on optimal payment strategies
  • Achieve sales targets by negotiating contracts and closing deals for payment processing, liquidity management, and digital solutions
  • Provide ongoing support to clients, ensuring high satisfaction and retention through proactive account management
  • Participate in industry events, client meetings, and training sessions to enhance JP Morgan's presence in the Malaysian FIG market

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, relationship management, or payments within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record in selling financial products to financial institutions, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region
  • Strong understanding of payment systems, treasury services, and regulatory environments in Malaysia and Southeast Asia
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages such as Mandarin are advantageous
