Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and management of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for assigned business units at JP Morgan Chase
  • Prepare and analyze management reports, variance analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support strategic decision-making
  • Coordinate and deliver impactful presentations to senior leadership on financial performance and business insights
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and risk management, to ensure accurate financial planning
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis and provide actionable recommendations
  • Support month-end and quarter-end close processes, including reconciliations and financial statement preparation
  • Utilize advanced Excel models and financial software to enhance forecasting accuracy
  • Contribute to process improvements in financial planning methodologies to drive efficiency
  • Assist in ad-hoc financial projects, such as cost optimization initiatives or merger-related analysis

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or related roles within the financial services industry
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting processes
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
  • Experience with financial reporting tools and ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance or Business Administration
  • Prior experience at a major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase
  • Certification such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
