Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements for funds under management
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory requirements in all reporting
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather and verify financial data
  • Analyze variances in financial reports and provide insights to stakeholders
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
  • Maintain documentation and audit trails for financial reporting activities
  • Assist in the implementation of new reporting tools and processes
  • Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed
  • Monitor and report on key financial metrics for fund performance

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial reporting within the financial services industry
  • Proficiency in GAAP and IFRS accounting standards
  • Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation and regulatory compliance
  • Experience with fund accounting and servicing in asset management
  • Ability to handle complex financial data and ensure accuracy in reporting
  • Certification such as CPA, CA, or equivalent (preferred but required for senior roles)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Finance)
  • Experience working with JP Morgan Chase or similar global financial institutions
  • Familiarity with fund servicing platforms like Geneva or Aladdin
  • Prior involvement in SEC or RBI regulatory filings
  • Demonstrated project management experience in financial reporting cycles
