You will analyze market data, assess portfolio performance, and identify opportunities for process improvements, all while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements such as Dodd-Frank and Basel III. Collaboration across trading desks, risk management, and technology teams will be essential to support the firm's global fixed income franchise, which spans government bonds, corporate credit, mortgages, and derivatives. Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Global Fixed Income, Commodities & Currency CFO team in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities
  • Develop and maintain business management reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for senior leadership
  • Collaborate with trading, sales, and operations teams to optimize business processes and drive efficiency
  • Analyze financial performance of fixed income portfolios and provide insights on market trends and risks
  • Assist in regulatory compliance and internal audit processes, ensuring adherence to SEC and global standards
  • Manage project initiatives related to technology implementations and process improvements in the business unit
  • Coordinate with global stakeholders to align on strategic goals and resource allocation
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare presentations for executive reviews
  • Support ad-hoc financial modeling and scenario analysis for business decisions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in finance, business management, or operations within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of fixed income markets, including bonds, derivatives, and commodities
  • Proven track record in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Experience with regulatory reporting and compliance in a global financial institution
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance or Economics
  • Prior experience at a major investment bank like JP Morgan Chase
  • Knowledge of risk management frameworks in fixed income trading
  • Certification such as CFA or CPA
