Key Responsibilities

  • Own and lead the credit card identity theft fraud strategy within JP Morgan Chase's Card Fraud Strategy team
  • Develop and deploy advanced analytics models to detect and mitigate ID theft fraud patterns
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, compliance, and product managers to enhance fraud prevention measures
  • Monitor fraud trends and performance metrics, providing actionable insights to senior leadership
  • Design and implement rules-based and machine learning-based detection systems tailored to credit card transactions
  • Conduct root cause analysis on fraud incidents and recommend process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations and internal JP Morgan Chase policies

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in fraud analytics, risk management, or financial services
  • Proven expertise in developing and implementing fraud detection strategies, particularly for identity theft in credit card portfolios
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements such as GLBA, FCRA, and PCI-DSS in the financial services industry
  • Experience with data analysis tools and programming languages used in risk modeling
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders in a large-scale banking environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in a quantitative discipline
