Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop resilient frontend applications supporting Audit, Compliance, Controls, and Legal teams at JP Morgan Chase
• Ensure high availability and scalability of platform services to handle large-scale financial data processing
• Collaborate with backend engineers and stakeholders to integrate user interfaces with secure APIs
• Implement responsive and accessible UI components adhering to financial industry standards
• Conduct code reviews, testing, and optimization to maintain application performance and security
• Contribute to the evolution of platform services by incorporating feedback from compliance and legal experts
• Monitor and troubleshoot frontend issues in production environments to minimize downtime
• Stay updated on emerging frontend technologies and apply them to enhance user experience in regulatory workflows
• Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives, to drive iterative improvements
• Document technical specifications and ensure compliance with JP Morgan's internal governance policies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend software development
• Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Strong understanding of web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles
• Experience with building scalable and resilient web applications in a financial services environment
• Knowledge of compliance standards relevant to audit, controls, and legal functions in banking
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate in agile teams and deliver high-quality code

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Experience working with financial data platforms or regulatory reporting systems
