Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications on AWS infrastructure to support JP Morgan Chase's financial services platforms
  • Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and compliance teams to build secure, scalable solutions for banking and investment services
  • Implement and optimize cloud-native architectures, ensuring high availability and performance for mission-critical financial applications
  • Write clean, efficient code for both front-end user interfaces and back-end services, integrating with APIs for real-time transaction processing
  • Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to uphold code quality standards in a regulated financial environment
  • Monitor and troubleshoot application performance using AWS tools like CloudWatch, addressing issues in production systems
  • Contribute to agile sprints, participating in daily stand-ups and retrospectives to deliver features for client-facing digital banking tools
  • Ensure adherence to security best practices and regulatory requirements such as GDPR and SOX in all development work
  • Mentor junior engineers and stay updated on emerging AWS technologies to drive innovation in financial software solutions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 3-5 years of professional experience in full stack software development
  • Proficiency in AWS cloud services including EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS
  • Strong experience with front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
  • Solid backend development skills in Java, Python, or Node.js
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases like SQL Server or MongoDB
  • Demonstrated ability to work in agile environments and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
