Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications for the Digital Banking API ecosystem, ensuring seamless integration with core banking systems
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices to support secure, scalable access to financial data and services
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to create intuitive user interfaces for API marketplace portals
• Implement robust security measures, including authentication, authorization, and encryption, to comply with financial regulations
• Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality, reliable software delivery
• Integrate third-party services and monitor API performance using tools like Splunk or New Relic
• Contribute to agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives, to drive iterative improvements
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in software engineering within the team
• Analyze and resolve production issues related to API uptime and transaction processing in real-time
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend innovations to enhance the API marketplace for digital banking clients

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development
• Strong proficiency in building and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with a focus on secure financial data handling
• Demonstrated ability to work in agile environments and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a regulated industry
• Knowledge of financial services regulations, including data privacy standards like GDPR and PCI-DSS
• Proven track record of delivering scalable software solutions in high-stakes environments
