Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily fund accounting tasks, including pricing, trade processing, and net asset value (NAV) calculations for institutional funds
  • Reconcile cash, positions, and income/expenses to ensure accuracy in financial records
  • Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and investor allocations in compliance with APAC regulations
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers, custodians, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and support fund operations
  • Monitor and process corporate actions, dividends, and interest accruals for diverse asset classes
  • Assist in month-end and quarter-end closings, including performance attribution and fee calculations
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency in fund servicing
  • Provide support to institutional clients in the Asia Pacific region, addressing queries on fund performance and reporting
  • Ensure adherence to JPMorgan Chase's risk management and control standards
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects related to new fund launches or system implementations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in fund accounting, financial services, or asset management
  • Strong understanding of fund accounting principles, including NAV calculations and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications
  • Excellent command of English; proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese is advantageous for APAC interactions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Relevant certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CFA Level 1 preferred but not mandatory

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with institutional asset managers in the Asia Pacific region
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for funds in Hong Kong and APAC markets
  • Prior exposure to JPMorgan Chase systems or similar banking platforms
  • Advanced degree or MBA in Finance
