Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily fund accounting tasks, including valuation, reconciliation, and NAV computations for WHEM funds
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with internal and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers, custodians, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and queries
  • Monitor and process trade settlements, income, and expense accruals for client portfolios
  • Support month-end and quarter-end close processes, including preparation of financial statements
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks in fund servicing activities
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within the Fund Services Operations team
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes
  • Assist in client onboarding and ongoing support for Wealth, Hedge, Equity, and Multi-asset funds
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes impacting fund accounting

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in fund accounting or financial services operations
  • Strong understanding of fund accounting principles, including NAV calculations and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the financial services industry, such as GAAP or IFRS
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with tight deadlines
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree or certification such as CPA, CFA, or ACCA
  • Experience with Wealth Management, Hedge Funds, or Emerging Markets (WHEM) portfolios
