Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of fund accounting professionals to ensure accurate and timely delivery of services for WHEM clients
  • Oversee daily operations including NAV computations, trade settlements, cash reconciliations, and investor reporting
  • Drive operational efficiency by identifying process improvements and implementing automation tools within JPMorgan's Fund Services platform
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders, including front-office teams, clients, and regulators, to support business growth and compliance
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) for client satisfaction
  • Manage risk and control frameworks to mitigate operational risks in fund accounting processes
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives, such as new product launches and technology integrations in the Fund Servicing organization
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the Mumbai operations team
  • Ensure compliance with JPMorgan's policies and industry standards in all fund servicing activities

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in fund accounting, operations, or financial services
  • Proven leadership experience in managing teams within the asset management or fund services sector
  • In-depth knowledge of fund accounting principles, including NAV calculations, reconciliations, and regulatory reporting
  • Strong understanding of global financial markets, particularly in Wealth, Hedge, Equity, and Multi-asset (WHEM) funds
  • Experience with financial regulations such as GAAP, IFRS, and SEC requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with a focus on operational excellence

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Finance) or professional certifications like CPA, CFA, or CAIA
  • Prior experience at a major financial institution like JPMorgan Chase or similar in fund servicing roles
