Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end fund servicing operations, including trade processing, reconciliations, and reporting for JP Morgan Chase's asset management clients
  • Lead and mentor a team of fund servicing professionals, ensuring high performance and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders to implement new fund launches, restructurings, and regulatory changes
  • Monitor and mitigate operational risks, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations
  • Drive process optimization and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs in fund administration
  • Prepare and analyze performance metrics, providing insights to senior management on operational effectiveness
  • Manage vendor relationships and third-party service providers for fund data and custody services
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews and resolve complex client inquiries related to fund valuations and distributions
  • Contribute to the development of training programs and knowledge sharing within the Fund Servicing team
  • Support audit processes and ensure timely resolution of findings to maintain JP Morgan Chase's high standards

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in fund servicing, asset management, or financial operations within the banking or investment industry
  • Proven track record in managing teams in a high-volume, regulated financial services environment
  • Strong understanding of fund accounting, NAV calculations, and regulatory compliance standards such as SEC and FATCA
  • Experience with fund administration systems and reconciliation processes
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, global team setting with stakeholders across multiple time zones
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Finance) or relevant certifications like CFA or CPA
  • Prior experience at a major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase or similar
  • Knowledge of alternative investments such as hedge funds or private equity
