Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of operations professionals to ensure efficient delivery of fund servicing solutions, including trade processing, reconciliations, and reporting
  • Drive operational excellence by implementing process improvements and leveraging technology to enhance client satisfaction and stakeholder value
  • Oversee daily fund administration activities, such as NAV computation, investor reporting, and compliance monitoring for mutual funds and alternative assets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and technology, to support new business initiatives and client onboarding
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls, mitigating risks in fund operations
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to optimize costs and turnaround times
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing insights on market trends and operational enhancements
  • Identify and champion innovation opportunities, such as automation and data analytics, to elevate the Fund Services organization
  • Conduct team training and development programs to build capabilities in a dynamic financial services landscape

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in fund servicing, operations, or asset management within the financial services industry
  • Proven leadership experience in managing operations teams in a high-volume, client-facing environment
  • Strong knowledge of fund accounting, NAV calculations, and regulatory compliance in mutual funds or alternative investments
  • Experience with financial systems such as Charles River, Aladdin, or similar platforms used in fund administration
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment with cross-functional teams
  • Fluency in English; additional languages such as Hindi are advantageous

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Finance) or relevant certifications like CFA or CPA
  • Experience in leading digital transformation initiatives in fund operations at a major financial institution
  • Prior exposure to JP Morgan Chase's Fund Services or similar bulge-bracket bank operations
  • Demonstrated success in client relationship management for institutional investors
